Who Gives Kudos:

September 10, 2009 - Thursday

Current mood:  luminous
When putting together the tracks for the first album 'Redetermination', for various reasons loads of songs were disgarded and relegated to the unwanted drawer.

When mixing tracks for what was to be the second album (which will now be the third album), some tracks just didn't seem to fit in - these were chucked in a bucket.

As time moved on all these oddities came together and formed an album.

This second album, 'Institutionalism', represents all these tracks i.e the ones that never made it to the first album or the forthcoming third album.

They are a random (some might say 'eclectic') bunch of tunes spanning genres from Folk and Psychedelia through to Indie and Electronica.

If you're after something a bit different, and want to know what a band would sound like if it contained Beck, Brian Eno, The Velvet Underground, George Harrison, Moby, The Aphex Twin, Pink Floyd and Lee Hazlewood, then 'Institutionalsim' will be right up your street.
