We did the bone marrow biopsy for Jesse today...he did great...the hospital & the entire staff were wonderful and Jess handled it all better than I thought he would, he even came out of the anesthesia alert & perky which is better than about 90% of the kids who come through there. The only real effect it had was that it made him extremely talkative...almost giddy & carefree, which was amusing b/c for those of you that know Jesse, you know carefree is certainly not one of his major characteristics! We only got some preliminary results today and so far, so good...they didn't find anything wrong! But, we get the real results on Wednesday or Thursday and go for our follow-up on the 17th when we go in for his MRI & Bone Scan. So, aside from what was a very long day spent in a hospital and and bit of soreness for Jess, we are doing good this evening.
