...the show scene has some serious..very serious gaps in space downtown and in everyone's life who goes to shows..in downtown peoria there are three regular bars,pubs,clubs..whatever ..whoo books bands: martini's-usually has two bands(i couldn't stay in one room for more than 8 minutes..or as long as my drink lasted) .sop's they have a good band come in maybe once a month ...or two..bleh. the rythm kitchen occasionally gets some good jazz bands in .if you like that sort of thing. ..i've been dreamin ever since i saw th closed babe's on main st. for lease.. it's big enough..-for probly 100 people ..to have some good bands there ..i would like to book bands .18 and over addmitance..and a section for 21 over crowd. i just don't have the resources or money to do this. i have no credit. the only resources i have is the management skills i've picked up after 3 years of working for a somewhat prosporous company and now a quickly expanding company(One World) and all of you people i know and everyone else i can talk to that i haven't that i know who can help me. so on ..so forth. i believe i have a good eye for music and somewhat in the field of marketing. i feel that there are a lot of people like me who want a better show scene or just somewhere where there will be a better vibe. i'm anxious ..i'm inspired..i'm a fan..i'm a mind ..i think i'm ready..i'm furious ..i can't do shit about this yet ..
