Thought it's been long enough to have left a silence and an update was more than in order .

We're all currently having a little breather at the last two years of mayhem and getting our heads back into music in a big way - it's funny what you can miss when you're running around like madmen and will have a million new recommendations for you's before too long old and new .

And as if that wasn't enough the NME have only gone and put us up for no less than FOUR awards this year . Best Band , Best Album , Best Dance Floor Filler and Best Video .
