poratz is above all one thing: rhythm! masterly woven out of
dry samples and beats. dark and metaphorical. enriched
with nearly breathed, discretely knotted musical relations
and references. firing on the auditorial cortex.
neatly woven and at the same time outrageously open - the
precisely produced arrangements knot chains of long-
winded associations that tear you down relentlessly. one
by one an acoustic labyrinth out of which there is nearly
no exit. from the very beginning the pieces click and crack
hypnotically like a suction, as if telegraphic codes were
ticking, as if something was being sent in morse code.
mostly by that poratz creates fascinating musical structures
that flicker like a sonar between dark and vague ambient
and the permanent wanting to skip moment of the pulsating
driven, the sinelike moved. he occasionally succeeds in
exciting the limbic system. with no doubt poratz belongs to
the causative agents - his reward is dopamine.
