This is my 1st blog in about 6 months, but I've got some updates for those of you who keep up with the music part of me:

I'll be doing a few more Blues Festivals before the Fall and Winter come.

Sept 28th - Blues Crawl ( Wichita KS ) with my old bandmates Jesse Major and Kyle Couch

Oct 2nd - Rock Hill Blues Festival ( Rock Hill SC ) with Matt Hill and Chuck Cotton

Oct 4th - Down Home Blues Festival ( Camden SC ) duo with my old pal Max Drake on guitar and mandolin

I'll also be heading out to visit my peps in the midwest at the end of Sept. We'll hit Kansas, Oklahoma, and Missourri ( see schedule for exact dates/locations ). I'll be joined by my old bandmates, Jesse Major and Kyle Couch for these.

I've never been there, but I will be in Connecticut with Pinetop Perkins and Bob Margolin on Sept 13th. I'll be on bass mostly and some duo guitar stuff with Bob's set probably.

One last note, folks keep asking, where's the new CD? We'll there isn't one right now. Due to constant gigging/biz, enjoying family life and North Carolina, I haven't had much time for recording or updating my MySpace website except to add dates. Thanks for your interest, compliments , and kind words though. There will be a new CD coming sometime in the near future. I'm not rushing it though, because I'd like to put out something good.
