So as some of you may or may not know, I do a little film review segment every Friday on Urban Rush here in Vancouver called, "UR at The Movies with Patrick Maliha." (Every Friday on Shaw TV at 5:45pm, 7:45pm, 11:45pm, 1:45am and then repeating sometime on the weekend
). The cool thing is that I'm now doing a weekly half hour radio segment as well. It's every Friday at 11:00 am on 1410 CFUN: Vancouver's fun am chat radio station. And let me tell you something; I absolutely LOVE doing radio!! Don't get me wrong, I enjoy television and there's something to be said about being in people's homes (Boogity!!) but I absolutely love the fact that today I did and entire half hour segment on the Nic and Val show in my boxers and housecoat while sipping a cup of coffee. Do you know how cool that is!?! I'll tell you - pretty dang cool. Seriously, look at how happy I am...

Now admittedly, this pic was taken early in the morning before I grew my beard in for the day, but you can see how happy I am knowing that I don't even have to shower to do the show. You know, sometimes I find myself hating the life I have because I feel like every day is a hustle. I gotta hustle to get more shows, I gotta hustle to get more comedy rooms going, I gotta hustle to get my reviews done, I gotta hustle to make sure everything is done for OCTV (Saturdays on KVOS at 11:30
). I get down because I feel like I'm always fighting to make sure bills are paid and I'm not moving forward. But then I do something like my film review segment on the Nic and Val show, I hear the intro music, the announcer say, "Grab a seat and some popcorn, because now it's time for UR at The Movies with Patrick Maliha." and all I can think to myself is that I am truly blessed. Although if I could be blessed with a little more of da ca$h money, dat would be nice
Eh, I guess it's all how you look at it. Things could be worse. I could still be trying to make cash the old fashioned way...
