Who Gives Kudos:

on the road from burlington to worcester, we passed a sign for a rest area. "hey jing," i said. "guess what?" haha.

we hit an awesome traffic jam and entertained the notion of passing the time by walking down the road and knocking on car windows and asking those inside if they wanted to make out while we waited. first place! second place! last place!

yeah, then we get to worcester, to the house we were to play. here we met lars. lars seemed to be in his twenties. lars, however, has the responsibility of a three-year-old and managed to forget that he booked a show friday night. lars confirmed the show with gina three days prior. lars is a fucking idiot. thanks, pal. we peaced out.

well, gang, let's get something to eat in worcester. after driving around for a while and discovering that worcester mass totally blows we just got back on the road, and found the country pride restaurant. i got a burger with bacon and a fried egg on it. the highlight of the evening. the sign as we exited the shell station was easy to adjust to say, "thank you for shopping at hell." that's about right.

gina then got us back to new york in like 5 minutes by driving 375 mph. being in mass and conn inspires you to drive fast as hell to get out of there as quickly as possible. by time we got home, we were able to realize that if one show was going to fall through, we were glad it was worcester. we checked out the funds, and, i'll be damned, we broke even. not band for a band's first diy tour.

well that does it for karl's tour diary. we had a killer time, and even old lars couldn't ruin the experience for us. we hung out with family and old friends, and met some new ones, played some awesome shows with some awesome bands, and got to live on the road for a little while and cruise all up and down the east coast. thanks to all of you who helped us out before hand and along the way. can't wait til next time.
