Tonight is the last show of the tour! We have so many memories from so many cities in this beautiful country. First of all--it was a lot warmer than we expected. We've been to Germany at least 8 times before with Snoop Dogg, The Game, The Black Eyed Peas and a solo tour. We've played Rock Am Ring, Rock In Park, The Dome and other shows that are too many to name. Needless to say, there is no country on the face of the planet that we've toured more extensively than Germany.
We close this six week tour with a fast rising single in WHEN IT WAS GOOD, and a lot of new German friends and fans.
Our heart goes out to the families of the victims that died in that horrific tragedy in Winnendon. The mass shooting occured while we were in Germany and wll forever be burned into our collective memories of this trip.
Right now we are on the road headed to the last venue of the tour. One love to the Flipsyde Family for all of the support. WE ARE FAMILY.

Click here for mini pig infoNEXT… in reference to Dave's 3/13 blog, let me say that Dave Lopez (who is CHILEAN) is wayyyyyy whiter than me right now. So his messing up on his guitar solo for the first time ever might have been “because of MY lack of tan”, but the second mess up was due to the fact that he looked down at his own hands while playing and was blinded by his own whiteness! :p .....Ps Dave you might want to go tan before you mess it up a 3rd time! Brattttttt! hahaha!
All kidding aside, Dave ripped two PHENOMENAL guitar solos last night and sooooo.... gotta give him some love and respect too.
Ok, now for my journal.....
We had SUCH a fun performance in Lingen. Beena and Jackie, our
GERMAN FANSITE girls, came to our show! I think they were our good luck charms! Even though it was a smaller audience, the energy in Lingen was magnificent ;) Dave and I were being goofballs and he killed his solos. Piper made the girls scream their heads off by removing his shirt, and Steve was pulling off some of his classic “Steve” dance moves!
After the show we went out into the crowd (like we always do, we LOVE meeting you guys) and a group of girls were yelling for me to come over to them. When I walked over they all start giggling and asking, "Is Sexy Man your boyfriend?" "What? Haha who's sexy man?" I replied. After repeatedly going "You know SEXY MAN!!!! The Sexy Man!" I finally understood they meant Piper! It was hilarious... all the girls in Lingen refer to Pipe as “Sexy Man”. Adorable ;).... and a well deserved nick-name since Piper has a CRAZYYYYY work out regiment!
A bit later, our bass/keyboard player (Lee) came into our dressing room to let us know that three little girls, about 12-15 years old, were asking if we would go out and say hi. Piper and I walked out and I was honestly afraid one of the girls was going to pass out! We signed their phones and took pictures with them. Piper finished signing before I did and as he walked away one of the girls started fanning herself with her hand saying, "Oh my god, sexy man sexy man". I kid you not!
The next day we drove to Bielefeld and had a day off. We all chilled for a little, then went to the bowling alley in our hotel! SO AWESOME! We were all amped up and ready to get our bowl on! We walked up to get our lane and the guy informed us that it was bowling league night :( DANG IT! We ended up just sitting in the restaurant/bar area and watching futbol on tv. Dave, Lee, Steve and I hung out for a little while. Dave watched The Twilight Zone, Steve Skyped with his little girl, and I painted my nails hot pink :)! Lee was boring and fell straight asleep haha!
Show day in Bielefeld was typical... I woke up, worked out, got dressed, went to sound check, ate dinner, performed, said hi to fans and watched some of Sarah's show. Then we went back to see about bowling. No leagues, we were in…everyone else had correct form, I on the other hand throw the bowling ball from my chest out to the ground. Or I turn backwards and bowl in between my legs etc.... I got 3rd though :) Love those sexy bowling shoes!
As I was climbing into bed I received a text from the dancers saying I should go out to a cool bar that they were at with Sarah Connor. Since it was only 11:15 I threw on some clothes, grabbed Steve and headed out to meet up with them! It was a small bar called Frucht in this quaint downtown sort of area! Ish, one of the dancers was busting out some moves all night and the rest of us danced a little and sat and talked for the most part. It was a really fun, chill night :)

Just taking some time out to thank everyone that was a part of our video shoot WHEN IT WAS GOOD. The director,
RAY KAY from Norway, has worked with everyone from Beyonce and Destiny's Child to Diddy and Ghostface Killah. The moment he hit us with the video concept it was so creative we knew two things:
1. The video had to be shot in Oakland, Ca. and
2. It had to incorporate real artists.
The song WHEN IT WAS GOOD lyrically deals with a relationship that has lost its fire and spontaneity. The WHEN IT WAS GOOD video deals with the song from a social standpoint. It's a story of one thing inspiring another, one artist sparking creativity in another creating an eternal upward spiral of truth.
I immediately told Ray Kay that the bulk of the video had to take place in or in front of the heart of Oakland's artist movement -- the Malonga Casquelourd Center on 14th and Alice. I then called my good friend rapper, poet, actor
Ise Lyfe, who happens to have the contact info of every real artist in the Oakland area, to Co-Produce the video.

The tour blog has been postponed so I can talk shit about Chantelle's pig. I want everyone to scroll down and see the one of God's ugliest creations in the form of that little midget pig. Chantelle wants that little creature as a pet and I swear, if she brings it on the tour bus I'm gonna have my snake eat it. I don't eat pork but my snake will. What ever happened to pit bulls, hell any dog or cat. Some kind of regular pet! A midget pig?? That's all for today.

So we are done with the 2nd week of the sarah connor tour!!!!everything is going really good...we've been playing our asses off!!also its been nice seeing some live footage on youtube...there's a version of spun where I completely trainwrecked the solo ouch!!I don't think I've ever messed that solo up and now its on youtube...makes me cringe but that's what happened..I blame it on the shnitzel or the lack of chantelles tan!!her whiteness distracted me!!hahaha yesterday our fearless leader of a tour manager took us to holland for a few hours!!!we had an excellent time there..they have the most relaxing coffee shop ever..the coffee was the best way better than starbucks!!hehehe!!!right now I'm sitting in a small german town grocery store hanging in small coffee shop!!these coffee shops just aren't as good as in holland??the only reason I'm here cause its next 2 a laundromat...I am so relieved 2 be washing my clothes!!I packed so many underwear to avoid the infamous gigbutt that I brought like only 10 shirts!!damn!!I gotta say just sitting here waiting is kinda funny..everyone seems 2 be staring at me like I'm from another planet...I guess there aren't that many chileans all dressed in black with the scruffy look around these parts...this sure isn't oakland...the people here seem very nice though really courteus...I also saw an old ass lady riding a bike like it was nothing..that made me feel really shitty!!I am so outta shape I'm sure she couldve kicked my ass...haha...anyways that's it 4 now the show is in a few hours and I'm looking forward 2 performing with a clean shirt!!!

Soooooo......Pork, sausage and bacon EVERY morning. I refuse to eat pig because I want a mini pig as a pet (scroll down and look at how adorable they are...and I hear they're smart). I always grab an apple from the hotel counter to eat on my way out to our van. The other day a hotel employee comes up to me and says, "YOU CAN'T TAKE THAT". I look at him confused and he continues, "YOU MUST EAT HERE!” "Oh ummmm ok" I say... to which he replies, "THERE HAVE BEEN LAWS SO YOU CAN'T TAKE, CAUSE PEOPLE HAVE GOTTEN SICK".
“Yeah, I've heard of tons of cases of food poisoning from hotel apples. Strange German law” ...I think to myself, but I say, "ok" and pretend to walk back inside. When he’s not looking I walk towards the van (still eating the forbidden apple) and all of a sudden from behind me I hear someone yelling, “Wait, you can’t leave with OUR APPLE!” I start to walk faster and I’m grabbed by the lunatic man… who turns out to be Steve haha.
We then all climbed in the van to make our way to Fulda, Germany. We’ve spent a lot of time driving...and watched SOOOOO many movies in this van already. I've also finished 2 books, American Psycho and Beat the Reaper (which is now one of my favorites).
We drove for awhile (still no signs of apple poisoning) and ended up in this residential area in front of a really cute little hotel. Our tour manager‘s name is Dave and our roadie is Stevie. How confusing is THAT? They helped me cart my suitcases (two big ones and two little ones) up four flights of stairs to my room. Yes, STAIRS...no elevator! And YES, I way over-packed and will never do it again. I love these two sooooo much for always helping me with my luggage though ;) They are such English gentlemen! Anyways, back to my journal... Since I'm the only girl, I get my own room with one bed. Piper comes walking into my room going, "So, in our room… our two twin beds are put together on ONE bed frame. In other words, Q (our drummer) and I would be sleeping together. This is not going to work at all!” Dave (the tour manager, not the Flipsyde one) comes walking in saying the same thing about his room with Stevie. We decide to try the hotel where Sarah Connor’s crew is staying. So we cart my suitcases BACK down to the van and head to their hotel! It was SO AMAZING! We were thrilled to be told of the indoor pool and hot tub! After Piper and I did his hard core work out (who needs a trainer, I have Piper) we jumped into the pool and joined the others! We swam around for the next 3 hours!
The next day Dave told me, "Chantelle you're looking kinda white, you should go use the hotel’s tanning booth" (he's such a brat). All the guys tease and pick on me and now Sarah Connor’s crew does as well! Pshhh! Since I WAS getting a little white in winter weather that I’m not used to, and since Dave had mentioned my lack of a tan at least 5 times… I decided to go. He was quick to say he was going with me. I think that was really the plan all along. So I’m letting you all know… Dave tans!
After our show we watched Sarah perform. Her dancers came running
off stage afterwards telling us to go get our suits for another swim before the pool closed. Piper, Lee (our base/keyboard player), 6 of Sarah’s dancers (4 guys and 2 girls), some band and crew members HAD A BLAST. Minus Piper’s launch that is… of ME… across the pool. Thanks Pipe ;p.
We had this afternoon off and are now in Lingen, Germany… just got back from a little town in Holland and I’m watching TV with the guys and returning myspace comments. Yes… it REALLY IS me who does all those comment returns. We just posted our single, WHEN IT WAS GOOD on our myspaces so make sure you add the song to your profile for us! The song is playing on the radio here in Germany!

Just stepped off the stage 15 minutes ago. Still have steam comin off my head. The hotel is literally in the same buiding as this venue. They have a huge swimming pool that actually connects to another pool outside. Do you know how hard core it is to be in a heated swimming pool in the middle of the night in Germany?? Steam coming off of the water and we're just sitting there looking at the stars. We're out here working hard everyday all day. Last night I took Chantelle through a fight workout, that girl is a Champion. Gonna cool off, head to the hotel and get changed. Its swim time.

Hey everyone!
As most of you already know, Flipsyde is on tour in Germany! It’s my first time in Europe so the guys are all showing me all the ropes. Germany is BEAUTIFUL and I’m experiencing a different culture and LOVING IT! I’m even learning some German ;). The only down side is it's freezing :/ that's the only part I'm not liking (besides all the sausage and pork)! My friends are all back home lying out on the beach and it’s snowing here next week!
We are doing our thing over here on the “Sexy As Hell Tour” with Sarah Connor (http://www.sarah-connor.com/)… and winning over hearts one German at a time! Dave is rocking it out, Piper is taking off his shirt and making all the little German girls scream ;), Steve is letting his amazing voice be heard, and I'm dancing and singing my heart out and pointing at little boys to make them blush (they’re sooo adorable).
We've also been doing some radio promotion & press, and one day (about the 5th interview) we all started goofing around a little bit to entertain ourselves! Let me start by saying Germans are very open sexually and have nude pictures in magazines and newspapers etc.... With that being said, we were doing an interview for a magazine and all sitting around this table answering questions and looking through magazines. After responding to a question I turn to say something to Dave and come to find he has several magazines open to this one page of a FULLY NAKED male. Yes, everything was out there. I got embarrassed and turned away and then immediately we all start laughing soooo hard! (the guys love making me feel awkward for some reason.... I'm the little sister they all pick on :p haha). Needless to say it was quite hilarious and I couldn't stop laughing for a few minutes!
Yesterday, Steve and I had a pick up game of basketball with Sarah Connor and some of her crew before the show! It was guys verses girls, and Sarah is extremely tall and can pretty much just place the basketball in the basket …so we won ;) haha!!!! It was a blast though, the girls were all just tackling the guys and doing whatever it took to steal the ball from them! :D So funny! To make the day even better we went out on stage and killed the show! It was our best show so far and such a high for me! The audience was incredible! Pipe and I went out and hung out with the fans after Sarah's set. Everyone has been so sweet and receptive! :)
Last night Steve, Lee and Q (our band guys) and I all went out to a club with Sarah, her sister, her dancers, and some crew! I danced the night away with Sarah’s dancers and her sister …and made fun of Lee and Q's moves!
We’ve taken some videos so I’ll post them when I can!

Daily Tour Blog--March 5, 2009
Well today started with an alarm clock. Ended up getting about 3 hours of sleep last night, when there's work to be done you gotta do it. Dave played us La Bamba and Vanilla Sky on the 5 and a half hour bus ride from Munich to Koblenz. Got a nice size sound check today and we were able to work on all of the little things that bug us to death but the crowd doesn't even know about. It ended up being the best show of the tour so far and we only aim to get better. One love to the Flipsyde Family.

Flipsyde has been in Germany for a week now, doing shows every night and LOVING IT!! We had our first day off so Steve and I decided to go explore The City Center in Munich. We talked Piper into coming with us and had a great day exploring together. Later on that night, Lee (our drummer), Q (keyboard) and I hung out at the 8 Seasons (that's not a typo - 8, not 4) with Sarah Connor and her dancers and crew. Yesterday we had 5 press related appts with radio stations, magazines etc...
INTERVIEWER: "Chantelle, do you have a boyfriend"
PIPER: "We all take turns, Dave has her Mon and
Tues Steve Weds and Thurs and I have her Fri-Sun"
CHANTELLE: "Yeah, and then while they don't have
me Piper and Dave have each other Weds and Thurs"
.... Pipe gave me props for that....
I've been coffee-less because to me German milk tastes spoiled and don't like black coffee. =( Nor do I eat pork or sausage which seems to be a part of every meal here.
I want a mini-pig, so cute!!!! (As a pet,

We just finished playing a killer show in koblenz germany...2nite was the best show so far..the chemistry of the group is getting better and better everyday...q and lee the new musicians are just killing it everynite!!not only are they great musicians they are the best looking guys u can find!!!hehehe!!!we have a killer crew with us dave and stevie from england!!those guys have helped the show run super smooth and have us cracking up with their humour...anyways I can't wait 2 bring the state of survival show 2 a city near you!!much love 2 anyone reading this!!
