So I was at Best Buy tonight wandering the aisles, lusting after yet not buying any new technology. Looking at games, movies, music to make my life more pleasurable and less drab and when I stumbled across a sale rack selling American Psycho for 5.99. A MUST purchase. I can't believe I didn't own this movie already. I forgot how hilariously funny it is, with Christian Bale's over the top acting. Especially the scene with the business cards. Fucking hilarious. Bret Easton Ellis novels are the reason I never wanted to be rich. Patrick Bateman is the greedy global corporation incarnate.  I use this movie as a litmus test, dropping it casually into conversation to check for appropriate reaction. After watching this, one can almost forgive Guinevere Turner for the awfulness of Go Fish! (Hey, it was that period of time when it was edgy to make a gay {as in homosexual} talking head movie, even if no one in it could act. That just made it edgier.) And the music....oooh la la. Classic New Order makes for classic film.
