My friend Billie and I went to Orlando last week to see Denison Witmer. I opened the show, but it was hard to focus on playing when I knew I was going to see Denison Witmer for the second time in ten years. It's also difficult to separate the names Denison and Witmer. Every time I said anything to him I had to say his full name.
You Orlando people are nice. You dress well, too. As a professional Floridian I know how complicated it can be to dress for the steamy weather.
I wish I had one of those Florida beach girl's bodies and I could just wander around town in a swimsuit and flip-flops. I can't. Ever.

I hide behind curtains.
So. Denison Witmer's set was beautiful. And he was ridiculously humble and kind. The New Frontiers were awesome. They were super nice, too. Hope to play with them again soon.
I am more of a song writing person than a show playing person, so I'm extremely pleased when shows go well. Thanks to all involved. Especially Billie. I'm bossy when I have to play in front of people.
Did I have something else to say today?.....I can't remember. This heat takes up residence in my brain and makes me feel like I'm in a perpetual fog.
All right.
Bye for now.

OH! I remember now....
GO BUY THE NEW SAM PHILLIPS! NOW. YOU'RE GOING TO LOVE IT. Trust me.
