KFOG Promotions Department Intern, San Francisco, CA
KFOG Radio, San Francisco’s home for World Class Rock, is currently accepting applications for a number of internships available with the Promotions Department.  Our programs run with the school semesters - Fall (September - December), Spring (January - April), and Summer (May - August).  These positions are for academic credit only, although some events do offer an appearance fee.
Broadcasting from our offices in downtown San Francisco, with great views of the bay and the bridge, we offer an informal, but professional, environment for the pursuit of musical and professional excellence.

Candidates will assist the Marketing and Promotion staff with promotions, public relations, and special events throughout the Bay Area – including KFOG KaBoom, the Bridge to Bridge run, and KFOG’s Concert for Kids.  Internship also includes some office and clerical work, as well as participation in contest and event coordination. Each intern will receive broad experience in radio promotions and opportunities are available to work with and learn about other departments as well.
Each job opening averages approximately 15-20 hours per week and includes days, nights, weekends and holidays.
The intern positions require the following:
- Must be a currently enrolled college student.
- Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Must have a GPA of C or above.
- Course of study in communications/broadcasting or marketing/public relations is preferred.
- Must have good communication skills - phone and writing.
- Must have excellent office and computer skills.
- Must be familiar with the KFOG format.
- Must have flexible hours and be able to work at least 20 hours per week, includes days, nights, weekends and holidays.
