The Black Tooth Bash is in memoriam of guitar hero and friend to all, "Dimebag" Darrell Abbott. This event proudly gives back to the charities that were of interest to Dime during his life and charities he would have been proud to be a part of. This summer's Black Tooth Bash has joined forces with Ride For Dime and Ozzfest, stretching this year's Black Tooth Bash Summer 2008 across 2 full days of rockin' activities. Special guests throughout the 2 day event to include Vinne Paul Abbott (Pantera, Damageplan, Hell Yeah), Kerry King (Slayer), Jerry Cantrell and Mike Inez (Alice In Chains), Scott Ian (Anthrax), Chad Gray (Mudvayne, Hell Yeah), Bob Zilla (Damageplan, Hell Yeah), King Diamond (Merciful Fate, King Diamond) and many more!

Black Tooth Bash Summer 2008 will raise money for three charities, Little Kids Rock, Covenant House, and Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America. Little Kids Rock is dedicated to bringing free musical instruments and music instruction to public school children, www.littlekidsrock.org . Covenant House International is the largest privately-funded agency in the Americas providing shelter and other services to homeless, runaway and throwaway youth, www.covenanthouse.org. Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America addresses critical issues facing new veterans and their families, including mental health, Traumatic Brain Injury, a stretched VA system, inadequate health coverage for national guardsmen and reservists, and outdated GI Bill educational benefits www.iava.org.

Black Tooth Bash Summer 2008 Schedule of Events

Saturday August 9th - Dime Does Ozzfest, featuring the Ride For Dime into the park to kick off Ozzfest 2008, Dimebag's Black Tooth Jam, featuring many special guests star performances on the Ozzfest Main Stage and the Dimebag Hardware booth on the Ozzfest Midway. The ride will depart from Strokers of Dallas, 9304 Harry Hines Blvd., Dallas, Texas. Departure time TBA. The ride will make it's way up I35E North to George Bush Tollway to the Dallas North Tollway to Pizza Hut Park to kick off Ozzfest 2008.

Sunday August 10th- Ride For Dime, Black Tooth BBQ & Bash, RFD tour through Arlington ending up at the Palladium Ballroom in Dallas for the afternoon Black Tooth BBQ & Bash featuring very special guests... Jacknife, Pumpjack, Blood Of The Sun, and many other bands and selective artist appearances throughout this full day.
