As our celebration of the European Reggae Summer 2K9 continues, Poca TV now bringzz you part 1 of our extensive coverage of
REGGAE SUNDANCE 2K8 -
Our chat wid Mutabaruka!

Reggae Sundance has for years been one of the key locations in Europe for Reggae - Based originally in Eindhoven in the south of the Netherlands (or Holland, as some say), the venue was moved to the neighbouring village of Eersel, idyllically placed next to a lake -
All was well for two years: the vibezz was blazing, camping out was GREAT next to the lake, more and more peeepss from all over Europe attended to see the best in reggae Sky-wide...
Then, out of nowhere, the sad news that Reggae Sundance 2K9 was cancelled, due indirectly to the credit crunch -
Poca TV tries to fill the sore gap with footage from last season, reminding us all why Reggae Sundance is ESSENTIAL for European reggae! Starting off, as mentioned, with our chat wid Mutabaruka, host of Reggae Sundance 2K8!

No frillzzz, no mediocrity, no shoes... Jusss Muta as Muta will alwayzzz be: straight-forward and I-riginal!
Poca TV is lingering on Reggae Sundance 2K8 in this edition of our Eur-Reggae Summer 2K9 - We are doing all we can to make up for the sad fact that the festival has been called off this year... After all, 25 to 30-thousand loyal European reggae patronzzz are missing out on one of the main i-lites of the year!
Sure, Sundance (in Eersel, the south of the Netherlands) is notoriousss for the loooong lines @ the gate, but it is even more famousss for the endlesss annual lists of HIGHEST quality reggae acts, the superb location, the scorching vibezzz... Why, even the ARTISTS can't wait for the festival to return in 2010!

As often happens while the European summer reggae train churnzzz southward from Sweden to Italy, new connexxionzzz are formed, new opportunities arise, new combinationzzz are made - Take for example French reggae band No More Babylon... Scheduled to do the backing for Ken Boothe, but ending up at very short notice sharing the stage with Winston "Mr Fix It" Francis!

No false notes, no missing a beat, no sweat... Jusss professionalzzz taking their jobzzz seriously, working together to keep spreading the vibezzz!
