The Path is a short horror game you can get from Tale Of Tales for 10 bucks. That's not bad. It was about 5 hours long for me. The first thing I noticed when I saw the path for the first time was how much it reminded me of Rule OF Rose. The path has style, super style, it's super highly stylized with the art it employs! In other words it looks awesome!!! It's a game about little red riding hood and the rule of the game is that you have to stay on the path and go to grandmother's house. There are six little red riding hoods in the game, and in order to get the most effect out of the game you have to break that rule and go off exploring into the forest each one. While you explore the forest there's a creepy and sometimes ambient soundtrack playing that totally rules.  After exploring  for a while you find different objects that you can interact with that may or may not have something to do with a murder at least that's what I think, but eventually you run into an area which I think is specific for each little red riding hood. IN that area you meet a version of the big bad wolf and then die gruesomely!!! It's the only game I've ever played where the objective is to die instead of the other way around. Then your ghost goes to grandmother's house, and as you make your way through it you end up seeing images of how you died I guess. My favorite character is Robin, and you'll see why if you play the game. Anyway the game is pretty subjective. Maybe none of the little red riding hoods died and there wasn't a murder and there's no big bad wolf, or maybe there is and all the red riding hoods die. I think it's down to the player to decide. Anyway, that's probably the point to wander and wonder around a creepy, stylized, sick looking forest with awesome music and sound effects. At least that's what I think the point is anyway.
