Well we had a good run this past summer.. Lots of good gigs... some outdoor venues... and we brought in a lot of new material... Our fall schedule is upon us and again we are busy with both corporate functions as well as our regular bar circuit...
2 bars that we played at have closed down.. which was a real shocker to us.. We enjoyed playing at the places but it seems the economy has hit the bar industry fairly hard... plus the new drinking and driving alcohol limit down to .05 from .08.. so basically one beer and you will blow over ... so bars are having smaller and smaller turnouts...
But they say the ecomony is turning around and it can't be fast enough for me..I feel for owners and their plight..It is not fun playing to an empty house...
Well back to rehearsals and learning more new material....Hope to see you around the circuit...
