Hey all, so i will get right to it..

A few months ago we were excited because we were planning on going down to Nashville, TN, to record our CD with Rob Coates, we are still extremely flattered that we were asked to record, but after some praying and talking it over, we will no longer be going down to Nashville. We thought it was a great oppurtunity for Khyim but the thing is, if we went and spent all that money, we would only have one week to record the whole album, and we jut dont think we would be happy with the record if we only had a week to do it. We just felt like we want more than a week to do it, so we can add more to it, also adding other piano parts, maybe strings, and spend longer just making sure we get what we want out it. We thank Rob Coates for the oppurtunity and look forward to working with him down the road, but for now, we plan on doing a lot of writing and most likely recording our CD "I Hate Not Breathing" here in Wisconsin.
We just felt you all deserve to know whats up with the band, so feel free to write in anytime =)
God Bless

That does seem a little short doing it in a week, especially if you all have a cold that week and the vocal tracks are shot.  I think bands should have the option to add anything until the final mix and mastering is done, then that's it, but you should be able to hear the tracks along the way to get an idea of how they sound and if that is what you were looking for and add whatever you want.
If they don't do it right, it can really disappoint people.
I pulled one of the American Idol tracks off the TV show video, I recorded for my sister, because that Idol's CD's production was so bad in comparison to the show's.

Once you are used to the process, the whole idea is cut the cost of studio time by having every thing you have to sing, play, special effects etc. all planned out and practiced to perfection ahead of time and ready to go.
There are good studios in Wisconsin.  Nashville doesn't have a lock on that.
Good recording equipment, producers, and engineers are so important wherever you go.
Hope everything falls into place and you can get that done soon.
Blessings from above.
