It appears that the economy and gas prices have impacted us all (like we didn't know that already), even fabulous festivals like Tribal SDstyle.  With a week and a half left before pre-registration closes, we have not had the workshop registrations we would have expected at this time and are faced with the possibility of canceling workshops...:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

Tribal SDstyle is proud to present festival workshops unlike any others offered at festivals elsewhere as well as feature many of our well-known San Diego and greater SoCal area instructors.  We love them so much we want everyone to have a chance to learn from these fabulous people as we have done!  I know there are some on our list that I've not had the chance to study with so I am psyched and hope to be able to do so.  While running around at the festival administrating, I hope to get in a little dancing as well!

I know many of you have been holding off until the last minute to purchase your workshops, but now is the time to do it.  Waiting to sign-up/pay at the festival may catch you by surprise with a cancelled workshop or two.

Let us not forget the main goals of TSDS is gain official 501(c) 3 status and to help raise money for worthy charitable organizations with the festival bringing in the majority of the donation.  Help us make this happen by attening.  If you cannot attend, but would like to help further our goals, you can make a donation to TSDS via the registration page or USPS.

We have a handy online registration tool to make life easier for you!  If you do not wish to pay online, you can register online and choose "Pay by Check" as your payment option.  This way we know your coming right away and we'll check the mailbox for your payment.  If you prefer no online at all, go to the Tribal SDstyle website and download a paper registration form and mail it in with your payment.

Daytime Performance slots still available!

Unlike last year, we have a hall for vending separate from the workshop studios.  This also means that we have a stage for daytime performances!  I know you like showing off your stuff and we want to see you do your thang!  You can download the performance application from the TSDS home pageand the Festival page.  If you experience any issues with the download, please email info@tribalsdstyle.com and we'll email it to you.

Documentary Screening!

Eleven women have found a new and added rhythm to their lives. See this dance of expression; how hearth & home meet bare, rolling tummies and how it has created a deep bond of friendship, self-confidence and an artistic voice as the Mountain Tribal Gypsy Belly Dance troupe.

Beyond the Belly Dance is a new documentary from Joyce Axelrod featuring an inside look at Mountain Tribal Gypsy Belly Dance troupe from Julian, CA.  The screening will be in the festival hall Sunday afternoon.  Come and check it out!
