During their last set Sunday night at moe.down, the band announced that
you, the fans, will have the opportunity to vote for and determine the
songs that will make up the Albany, NY Halloween show. Any fan with
access to a computer will have a voice!
Over the last month, the moe. organization reached out to fans on the
mailing list in search of those who had attended 100 or more moe. shows
over the years. The response was tremendous, with many people sharing
stories of how and when moe. entered their lives that were both amusing
and inspiring. Those who responded were then asked to nominate ONE of
the following:
One original moe. song (be it a seldom-played rarity or a classic crowd-pleaser)
OR
One cover song (be it something played in the past that you'd love to experience again, or something totally new and different)
The 100+ show moe.rons, (or as we like to call them, centena.rons)
didn't disappoint! The band now has a wide-ranging list of over 100
songs that will be available in poll form on
www.jambands.com
beginning September 15th. Fans will have 2 weeks to cast their vote for
what song they would like to hear from the list, and the results will
be revealed and experienced in all their glory on Halloween night.
While Democracy Rules is the musical theme of the night, it's not
necessarily the costume theme; we are encouraging all concert-goers to
just embrace the spirit of the holiday and dress in whatever costume
they can dream up.
We think this tricked out Halloween show is going to be a real treat.
