Its like funny and joke but its highly official specially when Indian highly crowded Delhi International Airport and safety  is concern . A number of flights was delayed on date 16-Jun-2008 and the reason behind animals refuge which are came on the   run way and mostly disturbs not only flights timings but also make passengers puzzle . There are mostly   lizards, birds and jackals that suddenly on the track after heavy rain in New Delhi, India.

But the problem would not be solved when airport authorities begun to kill them, so some rescuers came up and drove out all the animal outside International Airport area . Spokes Person of Indira Gandhi International Airport announced that flights would be delayed or cancelled due to animal rescuers work for.   On the other hand conservation group Wildlife SOS Kartick Satyanarayan described that animals are on the move in the quest of dry place. He and his team members help the IGI authorities to moved our these animals. Most probably heavily rain cause  fills up burrows of these animals then they came out became refuge and they find only runway is most sufficient area for this  .Usually monsoon come subcontinent on early June and New Delhi in early July but this year its came two week early and near about  20 people died in landslide , home collapse and Floods .Total area covered by airport is 2,000 acres and home of jackals, porcupines, dogs, cats and a variety of birds. But the officials did not clarify how many flights and passengers were affected by this operation. Near about 13,000 domestic and 9,500 international flights are managed by New Delhi International airport. A regular domestic flights passengers making remark on International Airport that "sometimes fog , sometimes strike , sometimes airport construction , sometimes strike and now delay due to Jackals, lizards and birds , what's going on and what be happen , its means usually IGI works only for five or 6 months within a year."
