I've finally succumbed to the peer pressure. I got a Facebook page.

Someone showed me a Simple Carnival Facebook page a couple months ago. I had nothing to do with that page, and I don't know who put it up, but it's gone now.

Anyway, if you're on Facebook, do a search for The Simple Carnival and you'll find it. That page is really me. I'll probably be spending more time on Facebook once I make further progress on the album.

In other news... one of my favorite electronic artists has gone pop! Mister Fusty (i.e. one Rob Gibson from the UK) has released a great new album called Over The Rocky Mountains.

Mister Fusty's instrumental debut album, Honest Blundering (which you can listen to in its entirety here), is one of my favorites. The newest album -- the first to feature vocals -- is equally good, but very different from the debut. You can hear the whole thing here.

What does this particular release have to do with The Simple Carnival? Well, I was lucky enough to hear a pre-release version of the album, and I received a thank you in the liner notes for offering a little bit of feedback.

Anyway, if you like electronic music and dig The Simple Carnival, check this thing out now! You'll probably love it. It's been on rotation here a lot last week. It's great stuff.
