well hello there

well, yes indeed we've been a little quiet lately. What with spending half of last year recording the album and a fair amount of gigging and launching... after our cafe de paris gig we decided to take a small break from the band applying the thesis that a watched pot never boils.

Since then i've been writing for a solo project 2nd Class Citizen which has kept my frazzled mind busy and away from meddling with The XCs and we've both been generally enjoying life and rearing chinchillas.

We're also happy to say that a couple of breaks have indeed come our way. Firstly we are involved with Myspace's upcoming show 'Freak' as our song 'I Can't Breathe' is going to be featured on it which we're well chuffed about. The show looks like a sort of Skins/Hollyoaks affair and is as far as i know, Myspaces first venture into an exclusively online series, something which i think we'll be seeing a lot more of in the future.

We've also been approached to license a number of tracks for a new hollywood show, in the same vein as greys anatomy, i don't watch too much tv but that may make sense to you!? Anyways , more on that when it develops...

So, the thing about the pot and the boiling certainly seems to be the case....we'll just have to see what happens, we feel that with the right exposure we'll get noticed and we'll continue to find more fans and then who knows....

We've also been talking about a new album for 2010..we'll see how the rest of this year pans out
