Just before Christmas I had a great chance to go out and see other coffee houses in the Crimson Cup Community. Now you won't find them elsewhere under the name Crimson Cup but our presence is.... well present.
On one of the colder days of this month, I ventured out to Pataskala, Ohio too see our friends at Smoothie Brews. Now, I lived there for a few years but never ventured this far out unless i was lost. So there I am driving along 310 in the middle of the afternoon when all of a sudden and out of what seemed like nowhere, this little strip mall appears to my left. The term strip mall is a very generous, for it was not but three attached businesses and I could only enter from the south bound lane. Well once I got in there it was much different than what I had expected. First of all the size and how open it was caught my attention. I was greeted by a loan, friendly barista (who's name shamefully escapes me) and we began to talk of coffee and of the happenings at their store. She showed me around the store and what kind of decorum they were using for Christmas and the children's area. Yes, they had a children's area!

I must say that it was a first for me seeing that in a coffee shop!

My next stop was at newly opened 5 Bean Coffee in Reynoldsburg:

This was my favorite stop! Stacy, the owner, showed my how she had done all the design work and was very excited to be part of the Crimson Cup Community. If you are an Ikea fan, then this shop is definitely for you!
It's a blast getting to visit our other stores and seeing who else has the same passion as we do!
Happy New Year!
