I do believe that an update is quite overdue.

2007 is turning out to be an excellent year (take note, wine collectors) (PS, I do realize that I am the only one thinking that joke was funny. Don't worry, I got a real kick out of it). As sales continue to grow for Tragedy of the Commons, we've made some great contacts, had a series of great shows, and a large number of high-fives.

A couple of highlights from the year thus far:

We played at SXSW in Austin, TX in March. Thanks very much to those who came to show their support, and to those who gladly took a CD and/or shook my hand as a stanger such as myself approached them on the street. We had a fantabulous time, and my love for the grand city of Austin is now yet greater than before.

In recent months, new songs have been written and some rough recordings have been made. Get psyched for another sweet album. Go on, gossip. Here, I'll even start a juicy rumor: Supposedly, Paul McCartney has already pre-ordered a copy of the next album. You be the judge of the truthfulness, but spread the rumor anyway.

Mid-June brought about a pleasant journey to Nashville, where we played at my new favorite venue, Cafe Coco. By far, the best hummus I have ever eaten. And their bartender was an absolute doll. The best part of the whole experience was that we got to hang out with our buddies from Dreamscapers, ASCAP and Tinderbox. All drank and were merry.

That's it for recent events of excitement. I know it's hard to top something like being released from prison after 23 days, but we try.
