Current mood:  tired
Category: Blogging

neighbor sold me his bicycle recently. gave me a cheap deal (100). that was two weeks ago. today i decided to find an excuse not to watch monday night football based on the fact that my fantasy football team is finished. it sucks but whatever. so gave bike riding a try for the first time in i'd say 12 years. which was the last time i was around my mom, who died back then. so i took it from one end of town and back. now mind you i live in a small town but if you haven't rode a bike in over a decade, your knees get sore...really sore. really, really sore. so the journey took forever but i made it.

i'll admit, i kinda felt younger again. like i was in high school, but was legal to drink and smoke. between each end of town i made a couple of stops to spot i haven't took the time to visit in while. like the park where i celebrated my middle-school graduation. i remeber it so vividly because alot of girls were sobbing and crying their eyes out as if they were never going to see each other again. eventually they reunited the next year in high school.

i past by my old neighborhood. the last neighborhood where i remember family. my family as a whole. before i lost my mother to colon cancer. i remember as if its still fresh in my mind. i kinda blame myself at some point for my mother's death. like i said, fresh in my mind.

i remember one day she suprised us with this new car she got, that i didn't like at all. it was this old pasty white station wagon. i hated that car at first but it grew on me. another funny memory i have is beating up this neighbor for picking on my bro. i'll forget that moment when i threw him under this parked bus and he was so afraid, he just hide under there for the rest of the time. i find it funny nowadays than before. i have this memory of meet jason kidd, when he went to st joeseph high school. he seemed like an ok cat. i had another neighbor who was the basketball coach there, so he had him over a bit.

so moving on...

i'm out of shape, man. especially my knees, which were sore as hell. so on the other end of town i stopped by a starbucks and grabbed a mocha to keep me warm. it was so incredibly cold out, i stayed in there a while to savor it. do a little people watching. people on their laptop, couples meeting for dates, etc. so i took a moment. saw the new dodge challenger parked on the street which was sicking (in a good way to those keeping score at home). after that i hit up a bookstore decided to read this book called "too fat to fish" by artie lange. read a chapter of it. so good, i bought it. i don't read many regular books but that one is so good, i couldn't put it down. i'd recomend it.

still being cold out, i got a second wind...and a little motivated but the fact that i have meatloaf back home. funny who i got back sooner. maybe i'll check the monday night football score. hopefully things did fall my way. knowing my luck, not usally.

Good blog. I'm working in the same school I went thru 4-6 grades. it's amazing when a building can still smell the same way 13 years later.

Btw, I'm beginning to think Gears 2 sucks.
