Hello my fellow darklings,

First off, I'd like to say welcome to our newer members at the forums at www.stlouisgothic.com, and secondly would like to extend the invitation to the rest of you to come back and participate!

We've made some improvements to the registration process that are meant to keep the spambots out.  We've had a lot of issues (as have many php admins) with spam in the past few months, and we're always looking for ways to improve upon them.  I'm open to taking on a few more people as moderators who can help delete these posts when they are spotted.  Message me on the board as skeletal13 if interested and let me know why you are qualified, and what area you'd like to take.

The forums were put up as YOUR playground.  Let's use them!  Advertise your shows/events, tell us your darkest secrets, what you love/hate about St. Louis, news tidbits you feel like sharing, share some poetry/philosophy... it's all there for you!  (We're a heckuva lot more personal than Myspace!)  This IS the resource for St. Louis' Gothic/Dark/underground subculture!

Also, don't forget to tell your friends about us!
