This was just too funny...i had to pass it on! :0)

I'm a little confused. Let me see if I have this straight.....

* If you grow up in Hawaii, raised by your grandparents, you're "exotic, different."

* Grow up in Alaska eating mooseburgers, a quintessential American story.

* If your name is Barack you're a radical, unpatriotic Muslim.

* Name your kids Willow, Trig and Track, you're a maverick.

* Graduate from Harvard law School and you are unstable (or an elitist).

* Attend 5 different small colleges before graduating, you're well grounded.

* If you spend 3 years as a brilliant community organizer, become the first black President of the Harvard Law Review, create a voter registration drive that registers 150,000 new voters, spend 12 years as a Constitutional Law professor, spend 8 years as a State Senator representing a district with over 750,000 people, become chairman of the state Senate's Health and Human Services committee, spend 4 years in the United States Senate representing a state of 13 million people while sponsoring 131 bills and serving on the Foreign Affairs, Environment and Public Works and Veteran's Affairs committees, you don't have any real leadership experience.

* If your total resume is: local weather girl, 4 years on the city council and 6 years as the mayor of a town with less than 7,000 people, 20 months as the governor of a state with only 650,000 people, then you're qualified to become the country's second highest ranking executive.

* If you have been married to the same woman for 19 years while raising 2 beautiful daughters, all within Protestant churches, you're not a real Christian.

* If you cheated on your first wife with a rich heiress, and left your disfigured wife and married the heiress the next month, you're a Christian.

* If you teach responsible, age appropriate sex education, including the proper use of birth control, you are eroding the fiber of society.

* If , while governor, you staunchly advocate abstinence only, with no other option in sex education in your state's school system while your unwed teen daughter ends up pregnant , you're very responsible.

* If your wife is a Harvard graduate laywer who gave up a position in a prestigious law firm to work for the betterment of her inner city community, then gave that up to raise a family, your family's values don't represent America's.

* If you're husband is nicknamed "First Dude", with at least one DWI conviction and no college education, who didn't register to vote until age 25 and once was a member of a group that advocated the secession of Alaska from the USA, your family is extremely admirable.

OK, much clearer now.

Thank you for clearing things up for me too.
Have you also noticed that McCain only jumped on the "let's change politics" platform after he saw how much success Obama was having with it?

I am a Obama supporter, but Palin was a great choice for his VP. She reenergized his entire campaign. It was very lackluster just a few shorts weeks ago, and now he is neck and neck with Obama.

McCain has to be about change now because when he chose Palin he effectively took the 'experience card' off the table. She's like Dan Quayle, but he did not stop father shrub from becoming president. Her only job is too say "Yes Sir" and stand there and look pretty and every so often put whatever McCain says into her own words. Kinda like any job, just do what the boss tells you to do.

If McCain wins it will be almost entirely because he chose Palin. They were about to put a fork in him before the convention. She brought the far right more into the fold, as well as brought his own celebrity to the ticket. This is the USA, home of struggling teachers and multimillionaire failed athletes and world famous bimbo performers, so celebrity status cannot be underrated.

What would be really funny is if Obama decided by Oct. 15th to change his running mate to Hillary!!!! If I am not mistaken, he has until October 15th to do so! I really like Biden, just don't like the idea that the election could come down to a small county in the middle of nowhere, and Hillary sure would boost this ticket!

But..but...but
you do know his middle name is Hussein...right?
add to McCain that he has been involved in one of the biggest failures of the Savings and Load industries...is a known gambler and as you mentioned an adulterer...and bingo...he is a better choice
(sarcasm)
end of rant
:)
the really cool thing..my entire extended family (aunts especially) voted for Bush TWICE...they are pretty staunch Republicans...everyone of them are voting for Obama...I have been pleasantly surprised...they are hopeful about his message of change..and they CANNIT STAND Palin
there is hope...

One question, since my last post wasn't posted.....?

If President Bill Clintion was in office.........I'd asked to be advocate the secession of Alaska from the USA as well. Sorry, but anyone that dodges a draft should not EVER be alowed to be considered, let alone run, and then given the honorable title of president of the best country in this world.

Let me start by saying I love you Lani Nash and your passion! BUT, I have alot as well and we differ on direction, not strength! Here's an example I received that explains just one of the strategic downfalls (in MY humble and pro McCain/Palin opinion).

This is a good idea. I’ll implement it tonight. My server will determine if they get a tip by telling me who they support. I love it.

Yesterday on my way to lunch at Demos Restaurant, I passed one of the homeless guys in that area, with a sign that read "Vote Obama, I need the money.

"

Once in the restaurant my waiter had on a "Obama 08" tee shirt.

When the bill came, I decided not to tip the waiter and explained to him while he had given me exceptional service, that his tee shirt made me feel he obviously believes in Senator Obama's plan to redistribute the wealth. I told him I was going to redistribute his tip to someone that I deemed more in need--the homeless guy outside. He stood there in disbelief and angrily stormed away.

I went outside, gave the homeless guy $3 and told him to thank the waiter inside, as I had decided he could use the money more. The homeless guy looked at me in disbelief but seemed grateful.

As I got in my truck, I realized this rather unscientific redistribution experiment had left the homeless guy quite happy for the money he did not earn, but the waiter was pretty angry that I gave away the money he did earn.

Well, I guess this redistribution of wealth is going to take a while to catch on, with those doing the work.

I could debate all day/night, and you could as well Lani! LOL I'm just glad there are people that use the right so many only dream of having! The right to have a choice. (and you know I have to throw this in Lani.......That excludes abortions. The person had a choice! They chose to lay down and have sex which is the process in which procreation occurs).

Anyway, I love ya girl. Hope you had a safe trip for the campaign and call me when you are ready to play.
How's the vocals doing?? Back yet?

MUAH!!!
