Well then.
I suppose for those of you reading this I should apologise for the lack of updates. Various personal things have taken my attention away from musics over the last few months so it’s been quieter than I would have liked, but now the sun’s out, the weather is glorious, and it’s time to get stuck into some pop songs again. That’s the plan anyway. 
What does all this mean? Well, it seems that Myspace has upped its song limit to 10, so there will be a lot of new tracks coming your way – the quality may well be rough as the proverbial as the idea is to get them all out in double-quick time but they’ll be coming at you thick and fast. Ohh yes. If you’re lucky you might even get one this week. How about that?
Secondly, later on this year you should get to see some ace video stuff I’ll be doing next month with Leeds-based filmmaker James Rhodes. You can have a look at his stuff over here . It’s rather good.......
In other news, the other band I play in, Penny Broadhurst and the Maffickers, are in the current issue of Artrocker magazine in some sort of 'look at all these fab Leeds bands' article. Check us out here. ....
We’ve also got a few gigs coming up – first up, this Friday (10th April) at the Packhorse in Leeds, followed by a couple in that London – we’re at the Wilmington Arms on the 24th April y’know. You can find all the dates and new songs at www.myspace.com/pennybroadhurst . Yep. Oh - and have a look at the photos we did at the Royal Festival Hall in Harrogate. They're swish.
Oh, and last thing: You may have noticed some good music released recently. I would like to point you in the direction of my good friends the Official Secrets Act, whose debut album is a right belter and should allow them to do this popstar lark, you know, properly.
And also the permanently wonderful Doggy, who have a new single out and you should buy that.
And last but not least, Wakefield supergroup (if such a thing can exist!) Mi Mye recently brought out their debut single. As everything they’ve done has been special up to now you can guarantee this is too. So buy it too.....
