... another year of little travel, no money and not sending my work into the BBC.

But 2008 was not a bad year for me, indeed it was a great year!

I've long been going through my own credit crunch after using credit cards, student loans and an unfeasibly large overdraft to drink, drive and fly around Europe (not all at the same time!) shunning any kind of responsibility for the entirety of my youth. I knew I owed a debt to myself, and it's almost repaid.

So, while 2009 is heading for a recession, Paul Hammond only predicts a boom, involving cheap holidays, a decent car and commodities charged at reasonable prices for the first time in over a decade.

At least that would be true if I could just pay December's rent!

... Endemol got back to me and told me they weren't interested in a single idea I pitched to them. Not one! Out of 164! They said the only one they were interested in was Bring Back Auschwitz*, but apparently Justin Lee Collins is already making that!

On a plus note though, my 2009 calendar made it back from the printers just in time! They came too late to go in the shops, but you can buy them directly from me at a very reasonable £15.99.

Here's the front cover.
2009 Calender- ready for print just in time
I'm off to buy fireworks for midnight! Happy New Year!!!

*I don't really want to bring back Auschwitz, just in case anyone fails to identify it as a crap joke.

Okay £14.99 since I just noticed the typo on calendar...
