I have absolutely urgent communications for you.
I'm Marina Valente, from the italian voluntary association: "L'Osteria a Calcutta". I know that you are coming to Italy, in order to discuss the ecologic question.
YOU WILL MEET IN ROME FEDERICO RAMPINI AND IT IS IMPORTANT THAT YOU KNOW VERY WELL WHO IS THIS FELLOW. He is a rich servant of italian capitalistic interests, envolved with FIAT and absolutely sold to the global market. It is from a long time that he writes and speaks in the TV in favour of the capitalistic economy, in order to mistificate private interests and using India as an example of "the new capitalism, the capitalism with a human face"! (can you imagine???).
You can read all that on the pages of the italian newspaper: "La Repubblica", (for example: 10-1-2008), were he makes the apology of TATA family and criminalizes the "violent" indian farmers in West Bengal area. Farmers fighting against the requisition of their lands by the W.B. government!!! Farmers fightng for their own survival!!!
Italian government is fully implicated in the Singur tragedy because the lands have been requisited in order to edificate a factory of cars (the absolutely anti-ecologic low cost car, few days ago presented to the Motor Show in New Delhi) in a criminal joint-venture FIAT-TATA MOTORS.
In Italy, togheter with other friends, journalists and writers (Piero Pagliani, Daniela Bezzi, Danilo Licciardello etc), and togheter with important Centres like Sereno Regis (focalized on Gandhi
thought) we are constantly in contact with the Sngur farmers , also through Mahaswetha Devi and Medha Patkar. We also formed a group trying to spread in Italy a correct information of what is happening in W.B. , but it is quite not possible to approach the T.V. and the big media, because of too many economic interests. Because of the Italian FIAT (that wants to solve his crisis using the indian market) and because of mr.Rampini who monopolizes the informations concerning what is happening in our loved India.
If it would be possible we will be very glad to meet you any time during your italian journey and to speak openly and about all these questions.
I think that you must know all that and the real face of mr. Rampini!!!
