Everything has a season and a purpose. We need to understand this simple principle. I have seen this happen and I know this isn't true for everyone but, usually obscurity precedes notoriety. It is good to recognize our season and prepare for it before it comes. But the fruit will not grow before to its right season.
Don't demand fruit when its not in season! Even restaurant menus have a little blurb that says certain items can be served only when their fruit is in season. Sometimes I feel as though I have been waiting without seeing any results, almost like a car waiting at a stop light, but then the light eventually changes from red to green and I'm free to move. When God changes the light to green, we can accomplish things that were tried at other times without success.
The thing we must always remember is God can bless us in many different areas, even while we are in the waiting periods of our lives. There are really no down times in God. We only feel down when we demand that God continue to give us what He did at one stage without appreciating the fact that we are moving from one stage to another. God knows how much and how long to raise the crop in our fields. It's a wonderful place to be in – a place where I can trust the God whom I have believed to operate for my ultimate good.
