We are in our weekly Producer's meeting. My Producers are worried because we don't have much money. We are struggling and our finances will run dry come April 18th when we start shooting. Our Line Producer turned to me to tell me about a new cost. That of legal fees. "Why aren't you concerned?" she asked me. She didn't detect any reaction in my voice or face. Well, how could I be worried or concerned? How could I get angry or sad? Excited or depressed? How could I explain that we are not alone in the making of the film. That we are watched over. That we are cared for and loved in a way we can barely even begin to grasp. The sun will always rise and set. So, will our opportunities to get more money and make our film. Yes, I keep calm knowing that a storm will only make me lose site of Luz. Like a tornado, it will sweep me and everyone else up. By the time the dust settles night has fallen.

So many challenges. So many obstacles. Immovable mountains. Vast lakes. How will we ever cross them? A bird takes flight to migrate on a journey thousands of miles long. The bird intuitively uses the wind currents to get to its destination. Imagine the same bird flapping its wings all the way across the immovable mountains. And vast lakes. Working against the wind for thousands of miles. In some manmade hurry. It would certainly fall out of the sky. Exhausted...

Lao Tzu teaches that when one aligns with the Way one begins to perceive the course of events. So, I believed that one day, by some great miracle, I will suddenly begin to see the future. Today I realized his profound teachings. I realized the world and people around me all speak of the Way I seek. They show me my Destiny. The future manifests before any of my thoughts which always lag behind. Truly amazing!
