A politician suggesting that we should return to responsibility, and meaning it? Well whodathunkit. Perhaps the new age really is beginning. I sense at least two new phrases for your next campaign here:

A return to responsibility.

The new age has arrived.

Thank you and please, stay safe.

Sometimes it takes a husband to become a President to make him realize what he has! LOL
I just love hearing how you are doing!

May I say, first of all I am honored to have such a strong, intelligent & beautiful first lady! I am in awe of how you balance your public life and responsibilities, & yet keep your girls your first piority! I have 2 girls also, 4 and 10, and its a struggle to be a working mom. Your interview was wonderful and it gave us more insight on our first family. You two are so down to earth, a seem so approachable, which has engaged the world. I like the fact that Presint Obama says he relies deeply on his faith. We are so proud an inspired because of this moment in history! It lets me know that all things are possible.Thank You, & our prayers are with you and your family!

This was a great interview, I'm happy you posted it here. I am the grandmother of 9, mother of 3 bi-racial adults and we were busy with Thanksgiving clean up for me to get to view it; to be honest, I forgot about it, but I had a wonderful day of sharing with my family and I hope you did too. I am an author and poet, I have several poems regarding this election. Here is one of them:

posted on the writing site I belong too; it is a great community for writers! To view it with artwork here is the address: http://www.fanstory.com/displaystory.jsp?id=239117 In case that has some html code, you will find the poem below; it is an acrostic poem which means the title becomes the first sentence of each line:

Barack And Biden, Yes We Can!

B arack chose Biden as running mate, a good choice.
A fresh perspective for the United States, new hope.
R epair breaches worldwide, once again a proud USA.
A bsolutely in a downslide but Americans are strong.
C hange and upward mobility for all people required.
K nowledge + experience = power to get us there.

A nd Barack spent years advocating for those who
N eeded laws passed; lost jobs, or lost hope.
D emocratic team, Barack and Biden bring hope back!

B arack's wife Michelle and Jo Biden's wife Jill add
I ntelligent and wise ability to lead with their husbands,
D etermined and strong couples to re-invent the USA.
E ach woman a strong role model; a lawyer and a teacher.
N ote they are also mothers and understand family issues.

Y oung girls again reside in the White House, Sasha and Malai.
E ducation will be a priorty in Barack and Biden's administration.
S urely, all necessary changes will not happen overnight.

W orld affairs take priority, two wars, as well as the
E conomy worldwide and in the US demand change.

C hoosing wisely, the transition team and Barack
A ppoint qualified leaders, wise counsel to stand guard.
N ot only historic, but willing and able to blaze new trails.

H elp your Country and all brethern, the people cry.
O h, if only you could stop the greedl Stop the dope!
P eople are suffering, dying every day, children are
E xperiencing abuse, hunger, some ravaged by war.

W ill you look at social issues as you look at all the rest?
O bama and Biden you will be challenged; let
N othing stop you from the planned change, we have hope!
