Hey babes!

I am currently in my old bedroom in Denmark with my family to celebrate Christmas, New Years Eve and to reeeeelaaaaaaaaaaax...

But there's no chance in hell that I wouldn't leave you the reader/listener without expressing my greatest gratitude for what has been an amazing year.

2008 saw the birth of our band and what we have accomplished in this year surpasses by far my wildest imagination. I'm still having a hard time coping with the fact, that I've jumped through countless personal goals and dreams by being in this band...

Winning "Músiktilraunir", playing outside Iceland, reaching the number one on radio charts with our songs "Eyes of a Cloud Catcher" and "Above these City Lights", having a magic moment during the Iceland Airwaves festival with our concert at NASA and being rewarded with a top 5 K's review by Kerrang, releasing our debut release "Lightbulb Universe", which we recorded ourselves, receiving the Kraumur award for it and now not more than a week ago being nominated for the Icelandic Music awards as the "brightest hope" (best new act)... and this is just the beginning! Unbelievable.

I'm having a hard time believing that any other year can beat what this year has brought us, but in no way are we going to sit back and watch clouds drift by. Hard work got us this far and hard work will get us even further.

I'm insanely proud of us and I am forever in debt to Tóti, Keli and Boggi for being the instruments and soundtrack needed for my voice and thoughts as terribly "notebook"ish that may sound. We are one fucked up collection of individuals, mostly visually, but holy shit we connect, yes, yes, yes, cheers to us, kattadúx....

The winter has left me voiceless but my fingers and throat are itching for new songs to write and concerts to play, can't wait, soon, but first, a well deserved vacation.
