When we thought the year 2008 couldn't be topped, we start of the year 2009 by winning an award for best new act at the Icelandic Music Awards.

Words can't even describe how proud we are, individually and of each other.

Just to be in the same group of other acts such as Dísa, Klive, Retro Stefson and Fm Belfast, all artists whom I personally listen to and respect greatly, is a mindblow... Just to be a part of the music awards also, words escape me. Simply amazing.

Especially due to the fact that everything has happened in less than a year... are we fully acknowledging our achievements and positive feedback? Sometimes I feel like a sledgehammer is more proper than a pinch on the arm for wakening me up from this fantastic dream.

A band of mixed brothers and hard work made this possible and a group of very important people made this a reality, whom we really should've thanked during our speech.

We thanked our families, especially our fathers and mothers, whom have always been an inspiration to us all and helped us in amazing ways, always and forever.

We thanked Þorður Gunnar for his help during the recording process.

We thanked Sara María and the Naked Ape for always dressing us up and her support.

We thanked Hitt Húsið, especially Ása and Markús for their support since day one.

So,

to celebrate everything that has happened this last year, I found out, that the 28th of February is the one year anniversary of Agent Fresco, when Boggi asked me whether or not, I wanted to join the band.

This is Agent Fresco's birthday and we will celebrate it by inviting people for a free concert with other free stuff and... balloons.

Event invitations will be sent out or posted on our profile in the next couple of days.

We are in the midst of writing new songs and can't tell you much than, we are fucking stoked about them and can't wait to play them live, and hopefully we'll play at least one of them at our birthday.

So yeah, not much else to update you guys on. A throat infection has kept me out of the singing for a couple of weeks, but it's all going in the right direction and hopefully I'll be full fit for the birthday party.
