DOINGITLIVE PRESENTS...

Doingitlive is dedicated to the musicans and bands that do it live, week in week out, at venues around Australia.

Doingitlive has worked closely with artists and venues within the live music industry for the past six years organising live shows, managing bands and supporting live music across the board. In the past doingitlive has been involved in the production of 2 Australian radio programs, one local the other national, which were dedicated to the Australian Music scenes and the artists who give them breath.

Doingitlive is currently working with award winning director Chris Haysom on documenting the last 10 to 15 years of the Sydney fringe Suburb of Newtown and the surrounding inner west, its people, the music, the arts and the experiences. Filming started in early January 2008 and has been running for close to 11 months so far. If you feel you may have something to contribute to the film either in person or to do with old footage of bands, buildings or knowledge of the area etc.
