------------------------------------------------------------------------------- It was during a moment of thought regarding my old friend Dr Zebo, an academic of both top UK and Chinese institutions that our conversation (one of a good interesting few) regarding desertification came to mind - and hence I wrote this poem. In China,I was so informed, desertification is a huge problem - due to primarily human requirement and therefore, apparently these days, the environment. And as of a consequence man itself shall not bear any fruit; because all has been reaped.
