Payment policy:  Payment MUST be paid according to this rule:  Half upon first day and half upon delivery of final master.  All recordings will remain property of Sentimental Dreams Studio until remainder is paid in full.  Payment can be made in cash or personal check.  If your personal check bounces this agreement will be deemed terminated and shall be responsible for the payment and any fees or costs incurred.  The artist is responsible for any and all legal costs and attorney's fees, etc., required to collect payment for said check. 

Booking and Cancellations:  Studio bookings will be made up to a month in advance.  If you are unable to make your session please notify the studio within 24 hours or you will risk a late fee.  The only exceptions are death, car accident on the way to the studio, or serious injury/illness.  I do not like to sit waiting for clients so please be prompt and on time.  Showing up early is encouraged but, please only by 10 minutes maximum.  If you are late by an hour or more, and have not notified me prior your scheduled time you will be charged a late fee of $25 (twenty five dollars). 

Setup Time and Break:  We all need a break once in a while and those will not be charged.  All costs for recording time are setup ahead of time in an "album rate," where you pay per song.  Setup time is not charged but please be able to set up in under an hour!

Facility Rules 

Outdoor Noise
Please understand that this is a residential location and that there are neighbors. In order to preserve their needs for a quiet neighborhood, noise should be kept to a minimum while outside of the house. 

Smoking
There is no smoking inside the house. You may smoke in the back yard, but please do not leave butts or matches on the ground.

The Cat
There is one cat that lives on the premises. If you have cat allergies, please notify so I can purify the air for you.  Please do not feed him.

Trash
Please be considerate about leaving trash around the grounds and the facility. Your momma does not work here, mine does but she is my mother and not yours and does not appreciate trash! You will be expected to clean up any mess that you make. Please leave all trash in the wastepaper baskets or in the trash container outside. I will take care of recyclables.

Parking and Car Alarms
If you have a car alarm, please be considerate about setting it off in the late hours of the night.  You may load in on the driveway and through the garage, I, Ashton, will be there to greet you and guide you to the studio.  After your gear is loaded in please park your vehicles on the road.

Use of Alcohol and Illegal Substances
No illegal substances are allowed on the property. Any behavior deemed unprofessional by the house engineer of artist, artist's guests or crew while under the influence of any substance will result in immediate termination of this agreement. No alcoholic drinks are to be consumed either. Thank you!

Equipment
You, the artist, are liable for any and all damage caused by clumsiness, or horseplay to both your own equipment and ours (and to anything in the house). You will be solely liable for all equipment broken under these circumstances. We are not responsible for your equipment or persons in any way.

Guests and Visitors
A full band can have up to two guests (people not playing an instrument). Please inform your guests to not be a distraction to the session. If your guests are disruptive to the session, they will be asked to leave.  You are responsible for any and all damage caused by clumsiness, or horseplay caused by your guests. 

Liability
My computer, Presonus Firepod, speakers, microphones and all other equipment is kept in pristine condition!  I ask that you keep food and drink (water is an exception) away from the area.  There is a futon, television and coffee table within the tracking room (the futon acts as a form of acoustic control) so please eat your food and have your beverages over there.

Shipping

If you would prefer to have your master's shipped I can accommodate.  Upon receipt of personal check I will mail or ship via UPS your final master and DVD backup. I can also mail through USPS.
