...in a gas station bathroom. A tornado touched down literally less than a mile from where I was. I went in the bathroom because the storm was freaking me out...good thing I did! If I would have kept driving I would have been like 5 or 6 blocks from it! I got freaked out enough to NOT get onto 35, so I pulled into a gas station and was just going to sit there, but then the storm got closer and it got darker and the wind got stronger, so I freaked out and was like "That's it, I'm going to go sit in a bathroom stall." Well I didn't have to sit in a stall (well, I really couldn't because there were only 2 stalls and one of them was stopped up lol), so I just stood against the wall for like half an hour, occasionally stepping outside the door to look outside and see what was going on. The cool thing is I made a new friend who is also scared of tornadoes. We had a party in the bathroom together =P Her name is Emily and she teaches gymnastics to 6, 7 and 8 yr old girls. She knows a few people from CFNI too. I'll probably never see her again, but we had fun trying to lighten up the situation. I also called my mommy and told her I loved her just in case anything happened. haha. I wish I could have called Michael, but he's at work so there was no way to get ahold of him.

uh oh..........it's thundering again.........I think I'm gonna go hide under my bed.......

Oh one more thing...when the eye of the storm finally passed and I started driving home, they were playing a song on the radio that says "sometimes He calms the storm, and sometimes He calms His child" and it made me laugh, not because it was funny but because I was nervous. ha. stupid KLTY.....
