We wanted to write and say a massive thanks to everyone who bought a copy of our single!
We were due to release a 2nd when we got a letter through the post saying the label has gone bust, and that no royalties can be paid.
We didnt care about the money, but now we have no way of knowing how well it sold, which we are really gutted about.
The letter said:
'Over the course of the last three months the company has suffered a great financial loss and has had to start proceedings to be wound up. Since the company has started receivership proceedings and has no further assets, the company is unable to continue funding your project or to employ the staff required to work on your project'
'If you are due any royalties from the sales of your single then you can contact info@musicdock.net to arrange a payment. If your royalties have already been paid to us, then we regret to say that these funds have been lost in the sinking of the company. We apologise for this'
Anyway...Shit happens, and it will only make us more determined and more careful, which can only be a good thing.
