First of all I would like to thank you for your interest in the Edward Ballister Project. I began writing the first chapter of Edward awhile back and paused to finish up another story that I had in the works. While I was writing that story, I began to read some of the blogs posted by my friends on Myspace. I started reading Jessica Lynne’s work as well as Charlotte Gledsons. I approached both of them not really expecting a reply, but was surprised to find that both were not only interested but excited about the idea of creating a tale using the imaginations of a multitude of wordsters like yourselves.

Here are a few things that, to keep a little bit of order and to help you decide if this is something that you want to be a part of, must be in place:

- Only those who I have assigned a chapter may submit.

-The chapters need to be between two and three thousand words and a maximum of around ten pages, 12 point font, double spaced.

-Any proceeds from The Edward Ballister Project will be divided equally between all contibuting writers.

-The Edward Ballister Project will maintain all rights to each writer’s contributions to edit, include or not include their submissions in the final piece.

I think for anyone who does decide that this is something they would like to be a part of, it will be beneficial to encourage an interactive writing community.

Edward Ballister is a dark tale of a youth who is forced into dealing with the darkness that lies within himself and his surroundings. It is beautifully written, and the style of each individual writer shines in every unique chapter. There is freedom within this tale should you take on this task So feel free to be creative, dark, and oh so twisted.

Thank you for your interest.

Jeff I would definitely be interested in writing an Edward Ballister chapter. If you are looking for a sample of my writing check out my story "Beautiful Baby" in my blog. I'm sure you'll find it disturbing. Send me a message if you're interested.

Consider my interest more than peaked, Jeff. You can read the prologue to BLEEDER, a horror novel I'm working on, for a sample of my work if you'd like:

I'd be very interested in contributing a chapter. Would you like some writing samples?

Who are you thinking about approaching with this? Honestly - not to sound full of myself - I'm only interested if we actually approach a publisher, and don't use Lulu or PA or something like that.

You might want to approach either Triad Publishing Group or Arctic Wolf Publishing. They're both small press, but legit and traditional.

I'm completely in love with the idea of this and would of course be interested to help out!

I don't have any previous works out, but I do however have a few poems and pieces posted in my blog.

I know that I am a little late to the show, but I would be honored if I could add a little something to this brilliant project. If you will let me join in on this fantastic idea then I assure you I would not let you down, for I'm a team player, excessively dark and fairly educated on how to write.

Here's hoping I can join in on the fun.
