So on our way from Madison to Minneapolis, there's all kinds of signs, much like travelling across America. However, once you start seeing signs for CHEESE, it pretty much gives away where you are if you didn't already know. Like BIG signs, the size of billboards that simply say "CHEESE." I swear it's the funniest thing I have seen in a while.... we stopped at a few of them and collected many crazy photos (of which I will post as soon as I can afford to get the 4 disposable cameras developed that we took--yes we were HIGH TECH in this trip! Our cameras even had FLASHES!)

Running out of money and time on tour, we headed to Minneapolis in search of gas money and PRINCE. PRINCE people...I am in PRINCE's hometown. I am looking everywhere for the purple muse, can't find him. Really hoping he'll show up at Teneia's gig cause he's heard how great she is......

Speaking of GREAT...we shared a show with JoAnna James. Holy shit, she is so great, it's not even funny. You HAVE to check her out. HAVE to... just do a search and I am sure you'll find her. She'll be in Louisville at the end of this month and I am telling you I will be there FIRST. What a sweet girl too, she let us crash at her aunt's house, which was the farthest you can get from a hostel. Looked like a magazine shoot from Southern Living, even though we were not anywhere NEAR the south!!!! WE LITERALLY HAD NO MONEY TO GET HOME, I SWEAR!  JoAnna's gig saved our asses, totally, not to mention our performance...we got enough to get home and THEN SOME! Oh yea--we dig Minneapolis. Our next trip will be Madison and Minneapolis and that's it. That's all we need. Oh, except for gas money....
