I hope my digital myspace persona is enough like my "in person," and I hope this hits you like a noted brick... Yes, you do look like you. Pictures usually look like the ugly you though; you at your worst (which I bet you thought was while punning!). The pictures never capture the you at your best though, because pictures can't capture compassion, and wit. They also can't capture the good intentions around meaning to pick up a friend from the airport but failing due either to a time based misundertanding, or car trouble. Nope, the pictures can't explain the best of you that we all carry in our hearts, minds and backpacks; like the book you let me borrow for my poetry class that saved me 30 bucks. I mean maybe a photo could capture that in an actual picture of the book with the note that said "for Russell, heart Roger," and I could definitely take the picture of the back of the book, so that people could see how much it costs. But that photo couldn't even start to explain what your friendship means to me: $58.75, were it new.
