Current mood:  sleepy
I figured I better write this stuff down so that I can stop thinking about it and go back to sleep and then I thought if nothing else maybe you can't go to sleep either so here's some stuff for you to read at 3:22 a.m.

There's only one thing more annoying than someone who thinks they have arrived, and that is someone who thinks they have arrived a long time ago.

There are a couple things that a person can do when handed a large amount of criticism, and these are to turn introspective and see if what was said has any measure of truth or merit for the purpose of change so as to reduce the amount of criticism coming to you next time, or you can grow thicker skin and hold out until the next person brings a seething barrage of criticisms your way (sounding, might I add, very similar to the last persons "personal attack") in which you have the choice again.

A good hard working person need not advertise that they are good. They will simply become outstanding to all those around them in time. The one who spends most of their time trying to convince others of their good deeds is in my opinion probably not truly deserving of attention for their "good deeds" unless of course their "good deeds" includes self promotion at which point they excel at and should be praised with all the praise that they are begging for themselves.

Must go back to sleep now...
