June 24th- Met a really nice lady named Trish on the plane. She is from Sydney but lives in LA and will retire soon in Oz. I slept about 6 hours and that has helped with the time adjustment.

Had lunch with Mike Ward's cool friend Lisa George at the Sydney Opera House. She is picking up an Australian accent even though she has only been here 9 months. Sydney could quite possibly be the most beuatiful city I have ever seen. Green, clean, and the weather was beautiful (and it was winter). My friend Graham's wife and brother picked me up from the airport and we went back to there place. Then kicked a soccer ball around with Graham's brother Michael for a while before picking up Graham with Jules at his job.

Had three or four beers at the local pub, and then went back and had a wonderful dinner that included Golden Pudding (tough to explain and delicious) and Port (easy to explain and delicious).

June 26th- Very mellow day. Walked in a nature park with Jules and Michael before getting on the plane to Cairns. Got in and made some friends with some of the staff I met here at the hostel, but they took me to crazy packed place called the Woolshed and it wasn't really my scene... Will try some other more mellow places later.

June 27th- Had a big Englush breakfast (apparently beans on toast is pretty common and the tomatoes don't have salmanilla). Hung out reading on the Esplenade (it's like a boardwalk at the beahc area) and did laundry. Slept early because tomorrow is all day bungee jumping.

June 28th- Had breakfast with the poll dancing champion of Austrlia. She teaches it as a fitness class in Sydney, but I definately had to ask about that twice to make sure I got it right:). Too bad she's married. Bungee jumped ten times at the AJ Hacket facility 25 minutes northwest of Cairns. If you haven't done it, you should try it. The feeling is amazing, and I have actually never been so relaxed in my life. The end was a run-off the roof of the building. Wow. I feel like all of the adrenaline in my body has been sucked dry.

Oh yeah, saw a Korean guy wearing a "Kiss Me I'm Irish" shirt. That was pretty damn funny.

I have some pictures, but haven't found a computer where I can upload then yet. Will try in the next couple of days.

This place is awesome.
