Who Gives Kudos:

Wednesday, January 18, 2006

Current mood:  amused

So Greg here is my big letter  blog.

We have finished tracking for the record and the mixing and mastering will be done soon.

Special thanks to the Through the Sparks for all there support in the making of this album. Jody Nelson produced the record and spent an incredible amount of time helping me see this through.  This album would not be what it is with out the man named Jody.  Also the boys from TTS helped get the tracking done.  I can not thank them enough.

Also Greg from Superphonic Records for letting me make the album I wanted to make.

Okay I feel like this is some sort of speech and not a blog.  I am not sure what these blog things really are anyways.

Basically the album is done . It has been a long process but well worth the end result.  I have not put out a record since 97. It is about time.

I have to get my 67 Ford Truck from Tower Automotive in Dawsonville Ga.
Then maybe I will come back to the coffee shop and type some more.

There you are Greg .

you are so kind sir.  No that was not so bad and I will add some more later just tolet you get a glimpse into my brain I am trying to rebuild like the 3 million dollar man.
LET the healing begin. Oh it has it just takes a while

well...ahem, it was actually the six million dollar man - unless you are on budget and contracted Yugoslavian engineers to reassemble you - then you are indeed correct.

you could maybe try to get two three million dollar men to battle one six million dollar man and see who wins....but that might be just a waste of money all the same.

so I will thank God . Otherwise I would be in prison right now or dead from bad habits.  Instead I am healthy alive and making music with my friends.
Not like some rap guy who thanks God then bumps and grinds with underage chicas in his video.
Maybe this will start some controversy.
I may need spelling lessons.
I give myself  Kudos just because I am happy the rain has stopped.

I am so glad Leah remembered this article.  I saw this years ago or so it seems on the fridge at an undisclosed location of debauchery and late nights.
That truly deserves 10 kudos to leah
I can not quit laughing.
Thank you

So Shawn of course you get to hear the record before anyone else.  I would not have it any other way.  Except for the fact that several poeple have already heard it.  But this is of course mostly the TTS boys you know.

Maybe I will give you a cd and you and Leah can have a private listening party.

If I had a good stereo in my old truck I would be willing to drive ya'll around while listening.  Oh well.

I have a strange feeling and I do not know why but you might be able to get the Ash man in some chaps.... Or maybe that would have been pre Law School

Thank you for taking the time to Kudo.

I have a great recording on my phone of a bunch of high school kids in a coffee shop yesterday trying to sing the song from rent.

A truly sad but beautifuly funny moment

What I just realized is the comedy of every response is from either Greg, SHawn or Leah,  except for the one from Kristen.

Oh and myself

You know Etowah is where I got locked up, sobered up and wrote the album.

It just seemed fitting.

So I think I will go play at the open mike night here in the mountains at this little coffee shop.

Ya'll have a good evening. They start things up early over here. You have to sign up by 6:30
