Sauce is the very thing that changes meats, breads, potatoes and rice into multiple millions of recipes for appetizing dishes from every culture around the world. In sauce is found a colorful, better yet a chemical fusion of flavors that start dry mouths to watering, and keep us on quests for more sauce ideas, even as we savor old favorites time and time again. It works with nearly every vegetable, fruit, nut, sap, meat, cheese or milk. Sauce can be sweet, sour, savory, salty or bitter, and imbibes the essence of nearly every herb and plant known to man, enhancing our mood with food, even our health and wealth. Sauce is enjoyed hot, warm, cold, heavy, thin, dark, light, chunky, soupy, stringy, cheesy, pungent, stinky, aromatic, nutty, aged, fermented, intoxicating, bland, dangerous, life threatening, and even barely palatable. Sauce also carries other variants in common with intoxication leading to cheek, impropriety and the like, but that's not the sauce of this day. Today, sauce takes us on a humble journey to Sauce ElatiOn - all about the joy of tasting great sauce over the food you love to eat!
