Blackhawks Invite Ministry Fans to Celebrate with Al Jourgensen
200 fans will win tickets to the March 5, 2008, home game and a chance to meet Jourgensen
Chicago, IL – Part of the history and lore of the legendary rock band Ministry is the devotion of its founder and lead singer to the Chicago Blackhawks NHL Hockey team. Even though he now lives in El Paso, Texas, Al Jourgensen is often seen on stage wearing a Blackhawks jersey and is a regular at home games in Chicago. This week, a new sports rock anthem written by Jourgensen for the Blackhawks will debut on Chicago area radio stations and on iTunes. Called "Keys to the City," the song is destined to inspire Blackhawks fans for years to come.
The Chicago Blackhawks are inviting Ministry fans, and other fans of great music, to experience Al Jourgensen's Chicago – at a Chicago Blackhawks home game. Up to 200 fans will receive tickets to the Blackhawks March 5 home game against the Anaheim Ducks as well as an opportunity to meet Al Jourgensen at the Bud Select Brew Pub at the United Center after the game.
