Have you ever noticed some of the bigger guys in your gym (who presumably are using anabolic steroids) always tend to be nursing some sort of injury? To the lay-person (and those influenced by biased media campaigns), this level of degradation might seem due to the use of AAS. They must make people weaker, right? Some sort of “fake muscle” that steroids deliver must be to blame, right? Not so fast. The muscle you gain with steroids is very real. It is often the speed the muscle is gained (as well as many other factors) that influence injuries.
