It’s time once again for the Tulsa Press Club’s annual fundraiser,
First Draft, which celebrates the art of brewing beer while
raising vital funds to keep the mission of the Tulsa Press Club
alive. This year’s event, First Draft 5th Edition, is
scheduled for the evening of Friday, November 6. We have
a fantastic new venue, the Blue Dome Diner at the heart
of the Blue Dome District part of downtown Tulsa’s re-vitalized night life.



          Now in its fifth year, First Draft is expected
to be a sellout yet again. Young business professionals,
members of the press and other communications professionals
make up the majority of participants.

Serving as emcee this year is KTUL’s Kristin Dickerson, anchor for News Channel 8.


Dozens of craft beers from around the world—ales, stouts,
porters, pilsners and lagers—will be available for tasting.

Everyone who attends the event receives a collectible
pint glass emblazoned with the First Draft name, and the
logo of the presenting sponsor. All attendees also receive
a copy of the magazine-style event program, which includes
sponsors’ ads and a road map that guides participants
through the various beer tables. Commemorative T-shirts,
as well as additional First Draft pint glasses, are available
for purchase. A new addition to this year’s event is a
wall of beer featuring exclusive brews and beer-related items.
